Hadith Required To Identify Innovations In Sunnah
Posted by Abdullah AbdulRahman on December 14, 2021 at 2:21 amAssalamualaikum
Ghamidi sahab says that Ahadees doesn’t add any new obligation. But the Deen we have by twatar,if something (bidat)would be added into it on the name of good thing and would later be called as Deen so isn’t it Ahadees which help us to know what was in the time of Prophet SAW and what has been added?

Moderator December 18, 2021 at 2:52 pmThis is not the kind of Ijma and Tawatur that has been discussed in the context of Sunnah. In order to meet the condition of tawatur it must be perpetually transmitted through generations from the very first day by such a large body of people that their conspiring or colluding on a lie becomes near to impossible. Ijma refers to consensus of the Muslims’ Knowledge (‘Musalmanon kai ilm ka ijma‘) which has been incorporated in ‘Fiqh Books‘ throughout the generations.
Ijma developed on Ahad later at some time is not the ijma we use for religion. There should be no Ahad in that chain of transmission to be classified as Ijma. And there is no ijma on Seven Qirats when we trace back the tradition of ilm recorded through ijma of scholars except for Qirat of Arza-e-Akhira.
Please refer to the following to understand the issue of Seven Qirats (Variant Readings of Quran) in Farahi Discourse:
