So washing between buttocks or dirt inside the nail would be obligatory in ghusal or if a person feels so he can do?

Sorry to disturb you one more time, can get evidence, because in “وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُواْ”, it is not explained that how much body(or what’s the definition of body (the definition which Fuqaha says flow water on whole body)?

Sorry to interfere with this thread.

But Mr. Umer Qureshi (@UmerQureshi ), washing is the same here as you explained in the other threads? Done naturally. And you mentioned in this thread (Discussion 58305) that washing a body part doesn’t necessarily require water to flow over it from beginning to end – any manner would suffice. For instance, one’s feet will be wet from the bottom just by standing in the shower and not making an effort to flow water over the bottom portions.

One should have this bath in a thorough and complete manner. The Quranic words اِطَّهَرُوا (ittaharu) and اِغْتَسِلوُا (ightasilu) testify to this (Discussion 30957 • Reply 30977).

However, we can take further guidance from Uswa of the Prophet (sws) how he used to perform Ghusal.

But from a legal standpoint, what is thorough and complete has been left to the person, the rest is a matter of fiqh, not religion.

If the water is reaching properly to the feet, then the objective of directive has been achieved.

So if my understanding of “thorough and complete” doesn’t require water to necessarily flow over any body part, then I have nothing to worry about, correct? In that case, I just need to be confident that water is reaching the body parts, whether through spreading from other body parts, rubbing, pouring, etc.?

Bottom line is that your body needs to be washed in a way you naturally wash it in a thorough manner without going into minute details.

Yes, you need to be confident that water is reaching the body parts, whether through spreading from other body parts, rubbing, pouring, etc.

And in that “thorough”,we get that while rinsing your mouth water must reach to throat and in nose, water must reach soft bone.So someone told that he does like these two deep enough that tears comes in his eyes. Is this ok? Then what’s the limit or normal way?(maybe some practical video)

It has been left to the nature of Humans and human beings usually don’t get too extremist with matters of cleaning themeselves, unless there’s figh involved unfortunately.
