    What is difference between 4 x schools of jurisprudence ( Hanafi , Maliki , Shafi & Hanbali ) and schools of creed i.e. Athari , Ashar’i, Maturidi. Am I correct in understanding , follower of Hanafi school will be either Ashar’i or Athari ?

    Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi, and Hanbali are four major schools of jurisprudence. Jurisprudence mainly deals with the application of law where there is no clear guidance in religion. Since the subject matter of this domain is subjective, there are many differences among the four schools. While it’s not possible to list all the differences individually, you can understand the type of differences in the matter of halal meat. Please refer to the following post:

    Schools of aqeeda or theology aim to deal with philosophical debates in religion. Once Quran’s viewpoint is understood in the light of constraints of human knowledge these speculative debates tend to offer no significant value.
