Salam, I have questions regarding the authenticity and perhaps authenticity of certain narratives,

    Narrated AbuHurayrah:

Am effeminate man (mukhannath) who had dyed his hands and feet with henna was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ). He asked: What is the matter with this man? He was told: “Messenger of Allah! He imitates the look of women.” So he issued an order regarding him and he was banished to an-Naqi’. The people said: Messenger of Allah! Should we not kill him? He said: I have been prohibited from killing people who pray. AbuUsamah said: Naqi’ is a region near Medina and not a Baqi’.

    Sunan Abi Dawud 4928

    Grade: Sahih (Al-Albani)

    Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:

If a man who is not married is seized committing sodomy, he will be stoned to death.

    Sunan Abi Dawud 4463

    Grade: Sahih (Al-Albani)

Furthermore, I’m aware from Ghamidi Sahib’s discourses that he believes “stoning” is not an Islamic punishment for homosexuality or adultery, how does he justify this claim? And are transgenders to be driven out of Muslim settlements in light of the above mentioned hadith?

As a matter of Principle, Ahadith and/or separate incidents and individual reports are not a source of any law, because of certain inherent limitations with their nature of transmission, they are to be understood in the light of Quran and Sunnah.

All such ahadith are to be seen in the light of Quran and Sunnah.

As far as capital punishment is concerned, Quran has made very clear that such punishment can only be inflicted in case of ‘Murder‘ and ‘Fasad-fil-Arz‘ (For Details: Discussion 1283). Therefore, if someone was ordered to be killed in any such narration, then it must be because they committed either of the two crimes. And in the first narration, since the person was banished from the city, which in accordance with ‘Muharabah‘ verses of Quran, is the lowest punsihment in case one is guilty of ‘Fasad-fil-Arz‘ (For Details: Discussion 27167). Therefore, it can be assumed in the light of Quran that such persons were guilty of ‘Fasad-fil-Arz‘.

Regarding punishment of Sodomy or Homosexuality as mentioned in the above hadith and in some other ahadith as well, the same principle will be applied as mentioned above. Similar question was posed to Ghamidi Sahab regarding homosexuality and His response can be listened to in the following thread-link:

As far as treatment of Transgenders in Islam is concerned, there’s nothing in Hadith Corpus which indicates that they were being mistreated or considered a low-level citizen solely because of their anatomy. There is also another narration in Sunan Abi Daud which suggests that Prophet (SWS) was originally comfortable with the mukhannath around his wives, until he indicated attraction to females (Source: https://sunnah.com/abudawud:4107).

Please also refer to the following thread which contains two detailed discussions with Ghamidi Sahab on the said matter:
