As for the wordly dealing with such crimes:
The punishments in Sharia are very clear and are to be given when a crime is committed (subject to court’s final verdict of course) e.g. Adultery, Theft, Qadhf, Muharbah and Murder.
The rest of the matters are left to collective consciousness of the society. Society can fix any punishment for other crimes, even some based on sadd-e-Zaria rationale and can suggest a fine or punsihment in this regard as well (depending on the severity of the punsihment).
