Muslim Men Marrying Ahl-e-kitab Women
Assalamoalaikum Brother,
I was listening to a question answer session in which Javaid Sahab mentioned from which I inferred “the allowance of Muslim men marrying non-Muslim women was due to Itemam-e-Hajjat aftermaths”. In short, kill Mushrikoon and Mahkoom EhleKitab therefore Allah allowed Men to marry mahkoom chaste KitabiWomen.
Is there a detailed discussion on this topic by Javaid Sahab somewhere or an article in any of his books or an article by any of his students or students of Al-Mawrid?
Can you please share.

Assalamoalaikum Brother @UmerQureshi ,
have Javaid Sahab explained anywhere the reference of his argument on this statement “the allowance of Muslim men marrying non-Muslim women was due to Itemam-e-Hajjat aftermaths”. He further says in the video that “Muslims were Hukmaran and ehl-e-Kitaab was Mahkoom so that was among the reasons as well whereas now it is opposite. (It makes sense what his argument is – no problems here). However, after checking all videos and discussions, I am still unable to find if he shared the reason / references for above argument.
If he has shared references or reason of this argument somewhere, it will be a big favour from you to share please.

Can it be that Quran 5:5 was revealed after Itmam e Hujjat? Where it explicitly stated “(Lawful to you in marriage) are chaste women from the believers and chaste women from those who were given the scripture before your time.
