Marrying A Non-Muslim If The Children Are Going To Be Raised As Muslims
Asselamu aleykum,
My question is, can a Muslim marry a non-Muslim (or even a person who is not from Ahl al-Kitab, i.e Zoroastrian, Buddhist, Hindu, or even a Atheist), if one is 100% sure that his progeny is going to be a Muslim.
In other words, is it explicitly prohibited to marry a non-Muslim, or it’s just as Sadd-e-Zaria.
Kindly clarify.

According to Ghamidi sb, relaxation was given to Muslim men when they were in power. Today, the situation is not exact. He believes even Muslim men shouldn’t marry Ahle Kitab women in these conditions. plz see Discussion 41462
