Gunnah Of Phone Sex – How To Make Tauba Again
Assalamu Alaikum, asking on behalf of someone. If we make tauba not to talk in any vulgar manner but due to friendship with opposite sex, it again got happened after seeing pics and frankness etc., and desires provoked to do that.. a) What if someone made tauba 10 times already with pure intention, but it got happened again, can he be forgiven for the same sin? b) Is this sin Kabeera or Sageera? c) what if someone have phone sex with an innocent person, and then that person got addicted and is now doing with others, will the first person receive equal gunnah? if Yes then how to make tauba in this situation? D)what if last tauba was with tears and purest intention, but after happening this again, this persojn starts feeling that he kind of betrayed his lord and now again want to seek forgiveness?

There is always hope of forgiveness if the person ask forgiveness with sincerity.

a & d). It does not matter whether a person has made tauba a 100 times, as long as that Tauba is with pure intention and is done immediately after realization, then Allah will Insha’Allah not ignore that forgiveness.

b). The act of adultery is a major sin while any act which is not adultery itself, but a precursor to adultery in any way, would be a minor sin. However, intentional repetition of a sin may be an indication of an attitude of arrogance which a person should keep in check (Please see: Discussion 48331).
c). Certain consequences of a sin may make the originator of that sin responsible for its repetition by others or for its ramifications for example, the first person who committed murder in this world will get a share from the sin of every murderer in this world till the day of judgement (Please see: Discussion 56201 • Reply 56209). However, this seems true for major sins and the sin under discussion is a minor one. But a God-conscious Muslim should still not take this for granted and try his best to stay true to his honest repentance and also communicate to the other party about his realization of this sin so that he can put his case in front of the Lord on the day of judgement, in case he is charged with ramifications of his minor sins as well.
