This most probably has to do with ‘Nafsi experiences‘ which may be stimulated because of certain chemical/physiological changes at that time like lack of oxygen in brain, dysfunction of temporal lobe etc. Such experiences are not death as described in Quran which is absolute and has no way of coming back. Such experiences can be somewhat similar to what people experience through certain hallucinogens/psychedelics or other techniques of Mystics which involve invoking the inner self (‘nafs‘) of a person where one can see visions of different kinds which are at times unbelievable. Following videos will help you understand Ghamidi Sahab’s perspective in a broader sense.
