    Asselamu aleyküm,

There are some difficulties we face generally face in maintaining the wudu, these difficulties can occur even during the prayers, such as, sometimes, the females passes air bubbles from the front passage, and while walking, prostrating, and standing up from sujood, the external urethral opening of men is sometimes opened due to bumping and stretching with the underwear or jeans which can also pass some urinal wetness that is present in urethra. Also, sometimes external urethral opening becomes evident (which is generally considered as the inside of private parts). Does that invalidates our ablution, Or these types of difficulties are excused?

    Kindly clarify.

The principle in matters of ibadah is usar (‘undue difficulty‘), whether it is due to any medical reason or any other circumstance. If the nullifiers of Wudu happen due to usar, for example, medical reason resulting in incontinence will fall under exemption. In such circumstances, only doing wuzu in pure state once would suffice (see: Discussion 59287).

It is for a person to decide which situation falls in Usar and which does not, as long as the decision of the person is honest, then hopefully any mistake made in making such determination will be forgiven by Allah. In the absence of Usar, if a wudu nullifier happens then the person has to redo their wudu (For Wudu Nullifiers, please see: Discussion 36957 • Reply 37010). It does not matter how a wudu nullifier happens, the primary determining factor is the presense/absence of Usar.

To understand the principle of Usar in short, please refer to the video below from 10:30 to 13:06

To understand the matter in further detail, how ‘illat‘ is extracted from a Quranic directive, whose presence or absence determines that directive’s validity in other similar situations, please refer to the video below from 1:21 onward (specifically from 16:25 to 21:13)

@UmerQureshi Does that ruling apply even on the condition, when the meatus of urethra, is opened or become evident due to touching with the garments? That actually happens with everybody, even if someone is walking. And the prophet (sav) never prescribed anything for such condition. I think it would be negligible.

I am not aware of this fact that this is something which happens with everybody.

But if this is something which frequently happens and a person has no control over it then the ruling on this would be the same as that of medical condition under principle of Usar. But if it is something which occurs rarely and cannot be called a condition, then Wudu would need to be done again.

Also, According to IslamQA, Wind that came out from the frontal passage of woman does not invalidates her wudu.

Yes, it does not because the nullifiers of Wudu, transmitted through Sunnah, are very clear in this regard. Please see:

Sorry for asking too many questions about the validity of wudu. But, There is another question that is in doubt for me. If so, Does that mean that wudu would be intact, if sweat is also discharged from anus. Or any other situation like that, there are many disagreements about the validity of wudu, and wudu is really a important issue. Because, It is one of the daily obligatory acts for a Muslim. That’s why i am a little bit conscious about that. Thanks for the co-operation.

As per this article, even that does not invalidates the wudu (Based on the Hanafi jurisprudence):- https://seekersguidance.org/answers/hanafi-fiqh/should-i-renew-wudu-because-of-wetness-at-my-rear-private-part/

What would be the Farahi perspective on that issue?

Yes, as a principle even sweat does not invalidate wuzu.

However, it needs to be kept in mind that in cases where it cannot be clearly established whether a wudu nullifier has happened or not, it is recommended to redo the wudu. For example, sleep itself is not a wudu nullifier but since one cannot establish whether a wudu nullifier has happened or not during sleep, therefore it is asked to redo wudu as a precautionary measure. The same applies to other situations, if a distinction can clearly be made between a wudu nullifier and a non-nullifier, then there is no need to redo wudu in case of a non-nullifier. But cases where this difference cannot be established clearly, then redoing wudu would be required as a precautionary measure simialr to how it was with sleep.

Please refer to the following response to clearly see the wudu nullifiers:
