I’m a software engineer working with some xyz company as an employee. There is a software product for link redirection which we are currently working on. Something like bit.ly Now thing is I saw some users (a very low number) are using this site to create short url for redirecting to some unethical sites. What is religious guide for working such a company.

And there are large tech companies like Meta, Amazon, Google, they’re offering some general purpose services but also their services are used for some unethical purposes. So what’s fatwa for working with these companies.

If you are just the developer of the software, then you are not responsible for what others do with your product, because the product itself is not unethical
