Child Given Up For Adoption Within Family
Assalamoalaikum Brothers,
The tradition of donating one’s child to a sister or brother (who don’t have children) is quite common now a days. Some people say that donated child becomes Mehram by feeding child milk by one’s sister etc.. is this that simple to make a child mehram?
Another question, where is this tradition arised from and does this have an Islamic standing? I personally dislike it coz it has so many negatives from Ikhlaqi / Haqooq point of view but I also wanted to understand Javaid Sahab standing on this in Islamic view point.
Please share a video of any sittings of Javaid Sahab on this matter.

Regarding milk kinship, it must be kept in mind that such a relationship is not formed by some chance episode of suckling a child. The words of the Quran stated in this context clearly testify that this relationship is established only with the full intent of those involved. In other words, an accidental happening does not establish this relationship; it only comes into being after it is planned and is well thought of. Hence, it is absolutely certain that for fosterage it is essential that the child be in the suckling age and that the matter be a planned one and not an accidental one. (Details: Discussion 29875).
