Can Women Wear Earrings And Other Forehead Adornments?
Posted by Ibrahim Ali on August 4, 2023 at 11:25 pmAs the ears are scientificly part of face and are not part of head ,,
So as we know all women are allowed to wear accessories on their face , hand and feet,,
So we do interpret things while watching at science and Islam
So is it permissible to wear earring??
And do all types of accessories are not permissible on hairs ?
Like pony or clips???
Kindly explain it

Moderator August 9, 2023 at 4:28 amGod has told us that the adornments that habitually stay bare need not be covered. This includes hands, feet and face. Whatever constitutes the face, can be adorned (i.e. forehead to the chin). Therefore, ears and forehead are both considered part of the face hence adornments on them can be worn.

Moderator August 10, 2023 at 3:43 amIt is true that there can be two opinions as far as the adornments of Hair are concerned but Ghamidi Sahab is more inclined towards the covering of the adorned hair. But casual gadgets like pony, hair clips, hair catchers etc. which women wear casually as a daily requirement do not fall in the definition of adornment.
Please also refer to the video below from 52:46 to 54:46

Member August 10, 2023 at 9:43 amSo is wearing anything flashy
Clips or crowns or other adornments should be hidden
Is this the poin of view of ghamdi SB or is it the order of religion
Bcz the far I know religion is more inclined towards the hiding sexuality, and preventing us from doing that in unlawful way,
So didn’t it contains the area near private parts like I agree that the necklace is something very much attractive as it is worn near the private part so it can be understood but what about the hairs bcz hairs are something far topic than hiding private parts,
And not wearing necklace,,
So I want to know if a women wear flashy thing on her head would it be haram or it would be a minor sin
Or it is just depend on the individual to decide what they do as it is not a sin,
Kindly elaborate,

Ibrahim Ali
Member August 10, 2023 at 9:45 amAs you said casual stuff which women wear Normally
So I want to ask was ghamdi SB saying about flashy jewelries which are worn on occasions ,
-
Umer
Moderator August 11, 2023 at 5:43 amSomething which can be categorized as an adornment/embellishment like a tiara or as you mentioned flashy jewellery which is worn on special occasions etc.
The matter of hair covering when adorned mainly depends on how one understands ‘illa ma zahra minha‘ directive.
-
-
Ibrahim Ali
Member August 11, 2023 at 7:50 amSo that’s depends on how someone understand that verse for themselves,
So if someone understand that verse as she wears flashy jewelries on her head will she be sinning?
Plz answer this
-
Ibrahim Ali
Member August 11, 2023 at 8:03 amWill this be consider as flashy thing while it’s not used on occasions, and what about clips and cature on which there’s some designs or some jewel joints on it,,,
-
Umer
Moderator August 12, 2023 at 2:11 amIf it is considered overall a casual wear like ordinary clips and catchers, then no need to cover it. However, if it is something worn on special occasions as an embellishment and the person still chooses to wear it on a daily basis, then it would be considered an adornment and should be covered.

Member August 12, 2023 at 2:58 amSo if a women chose not to hide the hair adornments,,
Would she be the sinner??
-
Umer
Moderator August 12, 2023 at 3:06 amIf she is doing it intentionally as a violation of a Quranic directive, then yes. But if she honestly thinks that this is not what Quranic directive means, the she is not sinful.

Member August 12, 2023 at 3:09 amOk
Jazakallah
But isn’t it is so complicated to understand
-
Umer
Moderator August 12, 2023 at 3:13 amIt is not complicated if one starts to focus on implementing the directves as understood by him on himself/herself, instead of applying the directives on others and determining whether or not they are being sinful. This stage can come later, but our first and foremost priority should be to understand the law of God for ourselves first.
-
-
Ibrahim Ali
Member August 12, 2023 at 3:24 amSo if I understand that the priority of the religion is to prevent from prohibited
And for this we got some directives from Allah and some we made by ourselves
So if we got in a situation where we can’t make sure to follow the directives but anyhow we try our best and always limit ourselves when it comes to stay away from prohibited,
And I got pure intentions which are no doubt knon by Allah and I trust in him and I’m being honest with him,
Then my Allah is merciful he will accept my efforts and will forgive me
And I do try my best to follow Islam,
As I have got understanding of it ,
Then am I correct or wrong?
-
Umer
Moderator August 12, 2023 at 3:27 amyes, correct.

Can u plz answer the question for which I have created another thread
Named
Minor and major sin?
Plz reply at it
-
Ibrahim Ali
Member August 12, 2023 at 3:49 amSo for the Sadd e Zariya directives from people
Would we be sinful for those too
Or should we just try to follow directives from Allah and make some for ourself as we see our situations better,

Member August 15, 2023 at 1:33 amWhat is it about two women witnessed at the place of one,,?
-
Ibrahim Ali
Member August 15, 2023 at 1:36 amI saw the response up there
But I want to ask abt sin,,
Like it will be a sin if we ignore the directives which are by Allah,,
But what about the opinions which are given by people,,?
And if a person’s job sometimes violates the Sadd e Zariya but the intention of the person is pure and the work in itself is not that kind of which can be a serious talk,, what any it then??
And if someone don’t follow Sadd e Zariya directives by Allah would it be a major sin ,,?
Or would Allah be displeased with us?
